Did you know? We’ve added a gallery space to the downstairs hallway in the Cooper Roofing Studios solely dedicated to showcasing the talents of local youth!

Join us in celebrating the talent of photographers Emma, Paige, Evie & Lotus!

This exhibition is part of Alberta’s Exposure Photography Festival.

Work will be on display in the downstairs youth gallery at LPAC starting February 1, 2025.

Join us Saturday, February 1 between 2-4pm for an opening reception, celebrating these four artists!

Upcoming: Are you under 18 & reside in Central Alberta? We are looking to fill the youth exhibition wall in the Cooper Roofing Studios, with 2D work to be on display mid-April through June to close out our 2024/25 season.

We are looking for works of all disciplines and mediums to fit into the theme of “Summer Vibes”.

Call for Submissions: Youth Gallery - Summer Vibes

We are accepting submissions from youth under the age of 18 years who reside in and around Central Alberta in all two-dimensional mediums and disciplines that would fit with the theme "Summer Vibes". This exhibit will run from April 12 until June 30, 2025. The fine print: * Deadline to submit is Sunday, March 30, 2025. * Applicants are welcome to submit more than once but must fill out a separate form for each individual piece. If the piece is intended as a series, only one submission is required per series. * All successful candidates will be notified via email on or before April 2, 2025. * All work submitted must be in 'ready to hang' condition. * Successful candidates will be responsible for delivery/pickup of artwork to/from the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre. * Successful candidates will have the opportunity to offer their work for sale to the public. If this is the case, LPAC takes a discounted 10% commission with 90%, for any work sold, going to the youth artist. Artists set their own prices for any work available for sale. Payment for any work sold will be issued within two weeks of the exhibit closing. * All work must be available to remain displayed for the duration of the exhibition. * An opening reception will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, April 12. This is a free event to attend and is open to the public. We invite and encourage all applicants to attend.

Any work sold during the exhibition, Lacombe Performing Arts Centre will receive 10% of the selling price as commission with 90% going to the artist. Artists are not required to place their work for sale.
